§ 3-1-13. Billing and interest

Billings by the City may be paid within thirty (30) days after billing without interest. Thereafter, interest may be charged at the rate of one and one-half percent (1½%) per month or any fraction thereof, until the following fifteenth (15th) day of November. Bills not paid on or before the fifteenth (15th) day of November shall have added to the total amount due one and one-half percent (1½%) of said charges shall be entered on the tax roll as a special charge and become a lien upon real estate.
